Games, tasks and rewards — which turned into a live laboratory for incentive design.
Games, tasks, rewards, participation. It grew quickly and reached thousands of users early, distributing real value — millions of naira in payouts, and support for ordinary costs like data and electricity.
An incentive system under live conditions, which is a different thing from an incentive system on paper. Every design question arrived with consequences attached:
- How do you prevent account farming without punishing the honest majority?
- Should verification happen at registration, or at withdrawal?
- Can good behaviour unlock additional opportunity, rather than everyone getting the same capacity?
- What happens when fraud detection is too strict?
- What happens when growth is prioritised too strongly?
Requiring strong verification early reduces abuse and slows legitimate growth. Frictionless entry increases participation and increases exposure. Both are true, so the question is not whether restriction is good or bad.
The question is where the restriction belongs. Move it to the high-trust action — withdrawal, elevated privileges — and entry stays open while the risky edge stays controlled. Trust then has somewhere to accumulate.
