Ajo already works. Private saving groups, participants who know or trust the host, money rotating on a schedule. The structure is old and it functions.

The system should not pretend trust can be fully outsourced to software. It can provide structure, schedules, identity verification, payment controls and transparency — and human relationships remain part of the security model rather than something the product replaces.

This is a wider position: technology should understand the human system it enters, instead of behaving as though that system is not there.
